I am excited to announce a new blog series with a Vendor Feature on one of my favorite Seattle & Tacoma based Wedding Venues, Mountain View Manor!  Over the next few months I will be featuring all types of different wedding vendors showcasing who they are, what they offer and how fabulous they are!

Today’s feature is all about one most important parts of your wedding, the wedding venue!  Mountain View Manor is a stunning 20 acre outdoor event and wedding venue that features beautiful views of Mount Rainier and the Cascade foothills, minutes from downtown Seattle, Tacoma and the Eastside.  I am incredibly excited to share a interview with one of the owners, Sheri and share all her wisdom and insight with you.

How long have you been in business & where are you located?

Mountain View Manor has been in business just 1 year. We are located in Enumclaw.

How did your venue come to be?

We started the business after we had our son’s wedding here. After seeing and experiencing that big day, we decided to try and make a go of it as a wedding venue. It’s been fun for my husband and I to work together and see what we could dream up together. I’m blessed to have a great partner!

 

 

Describe the process of what it looks like to work with you.

I’m pretty easy going and yet try to get the vision and feel for every couple’s dream day. I love to help make that dream come true for them. When couples come and tour and decide to book with me, I don’t expect them to have everything figured out. I give them some guidelines and dates to work with. Communication is something I strive to do well.

What is your favorite part of your venue?

My favorite part of the venue… Well, that’s easy… Cannot beat that mountain view! God’s creative touch cannot be out done. I also think our tent and chandeliers are very beautiful. And the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Quarters are pretty nice.

 

 

What makes your venue unique?

What makes the venue unique, I think the versatility of styles you can have out here in the country. Some couples like to play up the country feel which is easy to do out here but if you like the more elegant, classy style, that fits too!

What kind of updates or unique attractions do you see adding to your venue in the future?

Some additions that we are working on include 8 lamp posts around the perimeter of the landscaped property. I’m so excited about this! I think this will create a great look. I planted over 500 bulbs around the property. Once these bloom.. Color everywhere! We are also upgrading our guest restrooms, making them bigger and nicer than what we’ve had. Adding cocktail tables and a bar are also in the works. We are always coming up with ideas.
