The MV Skansonia Wedding | Marc + Ryoko

Marc and Ryoko had a beautiful The Mv Skansonia Wedding Reception on Lake Union in Seattle.  These two actually live in Tokyo, Japan and had a wedding ceremony and reception there in the summer of 2018 but wanted to celebrate with their friends and family here in America and so the threw a beautiful reception here.  There day was simply flawless and fun all around!  There were a few surprises throughout the day with on being the grooms brother Erik playing the song “Lucky” and Marc sang with him!  Ryoko was so surprised to see her new husband singing.  And also after they cut their cake they gave a thank you bite to each of their friends who helped plan the reception and supported them throughout the years.  After their reception we headed over to Gas Works Park for a few more bride and from portraits and photos with their friends!

The MV Skansonia is a restored vintage ferry from Seattle’s Golden Age and a one-of-a-kind waterfront venue that stays tied-up in North Lake Union with views of Gasworks Park and The Space Needle.  You can say your “I dos” on the bow of the boat, get ready in their upper deck sitting rooms and have cocktail hour, dinner and dancing under their covered promenade.
