Intimate Canlis Wedding // Sarah & Tyler

Sarah and Tyler had a gorgeous intimate Canlis Wedding in Downtown Seattle with their closest friends and family.  I absolutely adore these two and am still in awe of their beautiful wedding.  We started out at a beautiful room on First Hill overlooking all of Seattle with Sarah’s friends and family surrounding her with laughter and love.  From there we headed to Mohai on Lake Washington to meet up with Tyler for their couple portraits.  They happened to stumble across each other on accident while us photographers were still parking!  Oops!  Oh well, its a great story for their first look. ;-)

We spent some time wandering around the beautiful surroundings of Mohai capturing these two and their love.  From there we headed over to their intimate ceremony and reception at Canlis.  Sarah spent so much time creating the perfect decor to create the most intimate and lovely atmosphere with tons of tealights wrapped in gold chevron fabric in glass voties with lace and ribbon wrapped around an assortment of them.  The party favors were succulents which were also used for cake table decor.  She surprised Tyler with adorable penguin cake toppers as they are his favorite animal.

Their flowers were from Designs by Lilly and consisted of Sahara roses, peonies, chocolate cosmos, hydrangeas, dusty miller, astilbe, anemones and garden roses and were simply stunning.  Their stunning cake was by Stuffed Cakes.  Canlis provided a both beautiful and delicious meal accompanied by custom cocktails of Lemon Drops and Rusty Nails.
