Seabrook Washington // Personal

If you’ve never heard of Seabrook, then you are missing out!  It is one of mine and my husband’s favorite places and I even surprised him last year for his birthday with a few days away.  We basically go there any chance we get.  We are super strange and love to especially go during the winter when there are not so many people there and the wind is blisteringly cold along the beach.  I wanted to share a few photos from a recent trip (although, I must admit I was more focused on relaxing and having fun then I was taking photos) and also tell you a little bit about this favorite place of ours.

So what is Seabrook?  It is a little coastal town just south of Pacific Beach on the Washington coast that has beautiful vacation rental homes design with a small town feel.  Recently while there we had the chance to go on a tour of the town with the man who created it!  Basically they designed the homes to have character and charm unlike most modern homes being built today.  They put both small and large homes next to each other to bring diversity and create better community.  The roads were designed for parking on either side of the street to promote slower driving speeds.  Porches are built on many houses and sidewalks are close to the homes to encourage interaction.

While there you never really feel the need to leave the town as there is a small grocery shop, coffee shop, bakery, pottery store, antique stores and they are continually adding more!  There is also a pool, a gym and they are currently building up the farm district which will include farm animals!  Don’t you see why we love this place?  Its simply adorable.

They also have a Town Hall which can be rented for weddings or events.  Interested in having a Seabrook wedding or elopement? Take me with you!!! ;-)
